Every journey begins with a goodbye. Warsaw was home—the place where Luca and Mia grew up, learned their routines and watched the world from their favorite window. With everything packed, one final vet visit complete and their passports ready, they took one last look and climbed into the car. The adventure had begun.

Luca and Mia Hix were born in Poland on January 11, 2025. Luca is a gray-and-black merle; Mia is black and tan. Their travel diary follows the places they live, the routes between them, and the rituals that make each new home feel familiar.
We share each part of Luca and Mia Hix's journey after we've had time to enjoy the experience together, rather than trying to capture every moment as it happens. Luca and Mia Hix remain at the heart of the story, and as we meet new friends and family along the way, their stories come to life too.
